This policy covers Beacon Dispatch, the medical transportation dispatch and operations application built and operated by BeaconOps, including the Dispatch Portal at app.usebeaconops.com and the Beacon driver app for iOS and Android.

Information at a glance

We collect only what it takes to run a ride, do not sell information, and use driver location for dispatch and fleet visibility while a driver is Online (on shift), including while the app is in the background and only with device permission. Separately, Beacon saves location points for a trip only while the trip is in progress, from confirmed pickup until the ride is completed.

Request account deletion

Drivers and dispatchers can request deletion of their Beacon account in the app under Settings, Request Account Deletion. Your organization's authorized administrator reviews the request. If it is approved, the account is removed from use right away and personal information is permanently deleted within 30 to 90 days, subject to legal and contractual retention requirements. If it is denied, the account stays active. If you do not have the app, email team@usebeaconops.com with "Account Deletion Request" in the subject, your name, and the email on your Beacon account.
